Moventas is involved in several projects involving co-operation between companies and educational institutes
The Meeting Tomorrow project
The Meeting Tomorrow project, established by Devoi Ltd, seeks to create contact between companies and their potential future work force – young people – with the aim of exchanging opinions and expectations about future economic life. The project group started its activity in Jyväskylä in March 2010 with a meeting between local companies and student representatives.
The Economic Life Youth program
The Economic Life Youth program is coordinated by TAT (Economic Information Office) in Finland, with the aim of increasing co-operation between educational institutes and business enterprises. Moventas is involved in the Jyväskylä development group, which consists of HR representatives from different industries (including the forestry, technology, chemicals, and social and health care sectors) and basic-level education representatives (teachers). Industry representatives provide teachers with information about future needs and prospects in their sectors – which are then passed on to pupils – while the teachers bring out the views and opinions of their students concerning future working life.
The School of Internationality project
The School of Internationality project is a venture established by Jyväskylä Educational Consortium with the aim of developing international competence and increasing multicultural awareness within vocational and adult education institutes. The project aims to secure a professionally competent, internationally successful, and linguistically skilled work force.
