In cases where gears cannot be repaired on site, they are sent to one of Moventas’ service centers, where they are a fully disassembled and thoroughly inspected. All findings are reported in a professional inspection report that helps you evaluate the scope of the required service work. In the case of roll gears and wind turbine gears, units are load tested to the same standard as new gears.

All parts used in the servicing meet the specification of new gears and are under warranty. In addition to its own gears, Moventas services a wide range of gears from other manufacturers.
