To guarantee the optimum gear wheel quality, Moventas keeps all the key manufacturing phases in-house. The planetary and ring gear production requiring specific knowledge and production excellence, as well as the assembly and test runs, are always performed internally. We focus also on proactive services to ensure longer, more trouble-free operation of the gear unit and the whole wind turbine. To further ensure this, the Moventas Condition Management System (CMaS) detects component abnormalities early, making it possible to decrease the risk of damage and to increase operational reliability.
