Moventas establishes local representation in China, Thailand and Indonesia

Moventas has signed an agency agreement with Nordic Ventures Group of Singapore to improve its customer service in Asian fiber and paper industry. Nordic Ventures will represent Moventas in China, Indonesia and Thailand through offices in Shanghai, Beijing, Haikou, Jakarta, Pekanbaru, Surabaya and Prachinburi.

Moventas' aim is to strengthen its customer service and to increase customer base in process industries around the world. Nordic Ventures has worked with fiber and paper customers in Asia since 1991 and enjoy good reputation as a supplier of high quality products from Finland and other Nordic countries. The cooperation with Nordic Ventures strengthens Moventas' capabilities to capture the strong growth in the Asian markets and to serve the customers locally.  The agreement covers all fiber and paper industry products and services in Moventas' industrial gear range and comes into effect on 1st of April 2008.

Moventas designs, manufactures and markets drive units for the process industries under the Santasalo -trademark.
