August 21, 2008 Moventas strengthens its managementMoventas net sales increased by 40% in 2007. In 2008, net sales are expected to continue to grow strongly. The growth is strong especially in the wind gear business. Jukka Jäämaa has been appointed Executive Vice President, Wind Gears as of October 15, 2008. He will be heading the Wind Gears business in Moventas. Jäämaa will also be the deputy to CEO and President in Moventas Group. Jäämaa will report to Ilkka Hakala, CEO and President of Moventas and he will be a member of Moventas Management Team. Jäämaa will join the company on September 22, 2008 and he will have his office in Jyväskylä, Rautpohja. – The entire wind power industry is very exciting, and its importance is growing significantly. Previously Jukka Jäämaa worked 10 years at Elcoteq SE, the last four years as Chief Operating Officer and Deputy to President and CEO. Mikael Laine has been appointed Vice President, Finance as of November 1, 2008. He will be responsible for the finance and IT functions in Moventas Group. Laine will report to Ilkka Hakala, CEO and president of Moventas and he will be a member of Moventas Management Team. Laine will join the company as of September 1, 2008 and he will have his office at Moventas Vantaa. – I see Moventas strategy as a truly interesting challenge.
