Moventas headquarters are located in Jyväskylä, Finland. Moventas also has three factories in Finland, two in Jyväskylä and one in Karkkila.
The Ikola Factory in Jyväskylä is one of the most modern wind gearbox factories and service centers in the world, with its state-of-the-art assembly and service halls and MMW serial test fields. The Ikola Factory’s assembly line extension and a new 7,5 MW test field were completed in May 2018. You can read more about the upgrade project here and here.
In Rautpohja Factory in Jyväskylä, Moventas has its Technology center and a Service center. Moventas’ wind gearboxes’ housings are made in Karkkila Workshop, Southern Finland.
